Fliq

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

Fliq is an early-access product from NewsFlick Limited (trading as “Fliq”), a company registered in Hong Kong. This policy explains what we collect when you join our early-access list at fliq.news, and what we do with it.

What we collect

When you join the early-access list, we collect the email address you enter. We also record the date and time you signed up and which form you used, so we can manage the waitlist. We do not ask for your name or any other personal information.

Why we collect it

We use your email address only to:

  • confirm that you've joined the early-access list; and
  • let you know when early access opens and send occasional updates about Fliq.

We never sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for their own marketing.

Where it's stored

Your signup is stored in Google Sheets and processed through Google Workspace (which also sends your confirmation email), operated by Google. Our website is hosted by Hostinger. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms.

Cookies and local storage

We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser stores a small flag locally so the site remembers you've already joined and doesn't ask again — you can clear it any time in your browser settings.

How long we keep it

We keep your email until Fliq launches to you, or until you ask us to remove it — whichever comes first.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the email address we hold for you at any time by emailing info@fliq.news. If you're in the EU or UK, the GDPR gives you these rights; in Hong Kong, the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance does. Every update email we send also lets you opt out.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date above.
